Welcome to the Cove Creek Center at Cove Creek Farm

As you browse the pages on our web site, we hope you are able to capture the essence of our desire for the restoration and healing of families. Cove Creek Center is home to several dynamic programs designed to bring maturity, healing, and moral and spiritual awareness to young men and to their families. Cove Creek Center is located on Old US Highway 421 a short 2.2 miles from the junction of US Highway 321 North in Sugar Grove, just 10 miles from Boone, North Carolina. dsc00462_small.jpgCove Creek Center occupies the beautiful 25+ acre Cove Creek Farm only a few minutes from Appalachian State University, and Caldwell Community College & Technical Institute. While Cove Creek Center is not a religious entity, it does embrace the idea that one cannot fully heal emotionally or overcome addictions unless he heals spiritually and develops a close relationship with his Higher Power. The following is a brief description of the programs that call Cove Creek Center home. Cove Creek Farm CCF is dedicated to providing a safe, structured, and chemical free living environment for young men 16 and older who desire to finish high school, continue their post high school education, or who need to spend some additional time "growing up" before they continue on to college.

Cove Creek Academy CCA is a day school designed for local at-risk young men and for the residents of the Cove Creek Farm program in need of an alternative educational environment.

Cove Creek School of Leadership CCSL is the natural next step for graduates of the Cove Creek Farm program. Living in offsite housing and learning the skills it tales to be leaders in today's world, the participants continue to have strong ties as mentors and peer counselors to those still in the farm program.

Cove Creek Partnership for Healing CCPH is a collaborative effort that includes professionals from many traditional and nontraditional practitioners of the healing arts, from psychiatry to acupuncture, from massage therapy to life coaching, from natural medicine to meditation, in an effort to bring a holistic approach to healing. We have established a
