Cove Creek Farm

Program for young men who have completed high school or GED requirements.

Phase I: During Phase I a new resident may be given a number of educational, psychological and personality tests to help evaluate his unique situation. Assessment, adjustment and monitoring of medications by a psychiatrist is undertaken and normal sleep patterns are instituted. This intense 3 month period allows the team, the family and the resident to fully understand the situation and make plans for dealing with it. This is possibly the most difficult time for new residents because they are beginning to deal with their issues with sober minds. Prior to this, many residents have ignored, suppressed and run away from issues instead of dealing with them. The non-refundable cost of Phase I starts at $18,000 (a sliding scale can be arranged for those who need assistance by talking with our Board Treasurer who may review the family financial status), due upon arrival and includes most associated costs except professional fees.

Phase II: During the nexsummer_03_073_wince.jpgt 9 months the resident adjusts to school, work, volunteering in the community, learning independent living skills, living while clean and sober and undergoes individual and group counseling etc. The cost for Phase II is determind by various factors unique to each resident's situation. Our Board Treasurer will discuss a sustainable monthly tuition/room& board amount before the end of the second month.

Cove Creek School of Leadership

Program for young men who have one year of sobriety and are ready to move to more independent living

Phase III: Cove Creek School of Leadership can begin after a resident has completed one year as a clean and sober individual. He may become a "Fellow" in our leadership program and continue his higher ccf3_wince.jpgeducation, start a business, find fulfilling employment or any combination of the three. By then, a resident is usually ready to make the move to more independent living or consider longer term living at Cove Creek Farm. He is encouraged to begin associations with various civic organizations and continue working in AA or NA. Since the circumstances of each resident are different, the costs involved in phase III vary. This important step is designed to give the Fellow a long term association with our healing environment and provide him with a safety net of friends and supporters who have also "been there, done that."

Each resident is responsible for the cost of his classes in the post high school educational environment.

Most accept a co-pay and then bill the insurance company. There are several that require payment at the time that services are provided and then supply the patient with a receipt for the reimbursement of fees when claims are filed with their insurance carriers.
