edmisten.jpg John Edmisten the owner of Edmisten Heating and Cooling, and his wife Roberta have been supporters and major contributors to Cove Creek Farm for many years. John has a real heart for the healing of young men. We are deeply indebted to him not only for his financial support, but for his prayers as well.
ban.jpg Bandana's BBQ is a local legend. Mike and Mary Hall, the proud owners have been friends of Cove Creek since the first day we opened. A Thanksgiving without a Bandana's turkey would be intolerable. Mary, who is a member of our Advisory Council, was our first Board Member. She is a tirelessly energetic and highly visible member of the Watauga County community. Mike is a past President of the Boone Chamber of Commerce. When in Boone, you must eat at Bandana's to make the visit complete.

Chris and Dr. Shaw have special guests form the community on each week that provide expert advice and information to parents and care givers.

sienaoil.jpg Dr. James Tabor, a good friend of Cove Creek Farm, showed me the beautiful paintings of his son, David. These are some of the most beautiful and unique pieces of art that I have seen by a new artist. I hope you will navigate to his web site and look through his entire collection. Anyone  would love to have one of these pieces as a gift. I think my favorites are #23 Sheep at the Gate and #12 Joseph. David's work has elements of Picasso and Van Gough all rolled into his own unique style. Dr. Howard Johnson who owns Animal Hospital of Boone has been a friend of Cove Creek Farm since the turn of the century (sounds like a really long time). He is one of the most skilled and caring vets with whom I have ever dealt. Dr. Johnson has given of himself and his resources on many occasions when our dogs needed not only regular veterinary care but when the lives of several animals were critically at risk. If you need a local veterinarian, I hope you will call Dr. Johnson and chat with him about the needs of your pet.
